It Just Keeps Rolling In!

UPDATE: It is with sadness, that I report Dan Moore's site is no longer up due to lack of interest from the Fila Community. Notwithstanding, I thank him for all his efforts and for the great information we exchanged, however
briefly. In respect for the great site and it's developer I'll keep this article up.

Cafib-USA.com has more interesting and helpful information for the Fila Brasileiro enthusiast. Dan Moore has recently posted a translation of the CAFIB RULES & REGULATIONS. The original was Published in O Fila - Monthly Bulletin of CAFIB, year 3, No. 34 - May / June 1982, and is still valid today.

As a follow-up the, the article entitled "The Objective", published in "O Fila" - Monthly Bulletin of CAFIB, year 3, No. 34 - May / June 1982, and translated by Daniel Moore, explains:

"The purpose of the Rules of Registration is not limited to establishing standards for the issuance of documents for registration of animals in CAFIB. They have a broader scope, which is to develop a work of selection and improvement of the Fila Brasileiro breed, based on technical criteria, which enable knowing the genetic potential of each animal."

And if you'd like an interactive experience, there are some fun polls
asking some very relevant questions:

Cafib-USA (was) among the most reliable sources of information in English about CAFIB (Commission/Club for the Improvement of the Fila Brasileiro) outside of Brazil.
